RCS FLOTATION MACHINES
Metso’s RCS pneumatic and mechanical flotation machines have the most modern design, combining all the advantages of tank-like chambers with a unique rotor/stator (pulp aeration) mechanism, which allows for maximum efficiency in the rough flotation, intermediate flotation, cleaner flotation and recleaner flotation cycles.
New advanced design of the DV (Deep Vane) flotation mechanism improves air dispersion and the size range of bubbles. The patented DV design’s impeller has specially designed vertical blades with pointed lower edges and an air dispersion unit. Due to its design, the stirring mechanism creates a powerful radial injection of pulp into the walls of the chamber, as well as strong backwash flows into the bottom of the impeller to prevent siltation.
DR FLOTATION MACHINES
DR mechanical flotation machines are ideal for use in low-concentration processing plants and for the concentration of non-mineral raw materials. Their construction is a rectangular chamber divided by a partition with an opening for the flow of material. Due to excess pressure, the area of effective aeration increases, and due to vertical pulp recirculation, the solid level in the suspension is maintained and siltation of the bottom of the chamber is prevented.
COLUMN-LIKE FLOTATION MACHINES
Pneumatic column flotation machines provide high extraction and overall performance thanks to the use of a unique dispersion system that reduces the size of the bubbles to an optimum level. The flow of smaller bubbles increases the saturation zone with a valuable component in the surface of the machine, thereby improving metallurgical results in comparison with classic aeration systems.
